I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, but have made Riverside my home since 2021. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and earned my Paralegal Certificate from the University of California San Diego.
I was exposed to the legal field when I was brought on as a case manager to a private investigation firm in Laguna Niguel. During my time there, I collaborated with attorneys by writing mitigation and witness statements. Due to the impact of COVID on the business, I transitioned to an immigration firm where I managed the Ninth Circuit Appeals Department. I spent most of my time drafting motions and developing strategies for time sensitive cases. Being able to give clients a second opportunity was the most fulfilling part of the job.
As a Paralegal at the Law Office of Maureen Lyons, I am dedicated to delivering a high-quality service to our client’s and with the assistance of our attorney’s, I am able to draft an Estate Plan that is tailored our client’s needs. I love that this area of law is preventative and that we can be alongside our client’s during a very important process.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and visiting my family.
